Founder & President

Ashley is a director, writer, and producer who creates her her own work for theater, television, and film while also working on large-scale Broadway musicals on their directing teams. In her own work, she gravitates towards projects that can examine the complexity of women's' lives and explores the nuances of hope, optimism, and community. She also loves to incorporate musical storytelling in all of its forms, whether on camera or onstage. Her short films have been featured at festivals around the country, including North Hollywood CineFest, Austin Revolution Film Festival, WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, Golden Door International Film Festival, Coney Island Film Festival and more.

In early 2020 during the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Ashley directed Broadway Does Mother’s Day on Broadway.com--a virtual fundraiser for BC/EFA-- which featured performances from 17 Broadway shows and included stars such as Bette Midler, Beanie Feldstein, and John Mulaney. She is also the director for Laura Benanti’s Sunshine Songs live streams (which inspired Benanti’s HBO Max scripted special called Homeschool Musical). Additionally, she directed and helped create a 26-episode season of the series CURTAIN UP!-a live variety show for senior citizens and senior communities around the US during the time of quarantine.

For theater, she has developed projects for Disney Theatrical, Ars Nova, Lively/McCabe, and Little Sparrow Productions. She also was the Worldwide Supervising Associate Director for Moulin Rouge! The Musical for Broadway, the US National Tour, London, Australia, and Germany productions). She was also Resident Director for Hamilton: An American Musical in Puerto Rico & San Francisco. She was the Associate Director for Oh Hello! with Nick Kroll & John Mulaney (Broadway, National Tour, Netflix special). She was also the AD for John Mulaney’s Kid Gorgeous special for Netflix at Radio City and the upcoming Just For Us special for HBO Max. Awards: Finalist for Shondaland Directing Mentorship with Series Fest (2019), Finalist for WGA fellowship for comedy writing (2017). Yale Alum, class of 2009.
